Our life consists of stories, big or small. We have been continuously sharing stories in our life throughout our days. From the moment we see one another upon our arrivals until the time we share our goodbyes at the end of the day. Some of our stories can be true or fictitious. Understanding on the significance of stories in our life, we take an opportunity to extend our learning experiences to various possibilities. One of them is by engaging light as an interactive medium to resonate with. We understand stories are a universal and innate way that we communicate with each other in our daily lives. When we tell a story, we are actually being generous in opening-up ourselves. We trust others to come to know us by providing context that allows others to interpret our unique experiences. ![]() Stories allow us to learn the right ways in addressing situations in life, too. We select and bring in stories that relate to particular interests. This story of Wolf Girl by Jo Loring-Fisher helps us understand how we can overcome the isolating feeling of being shy, finding friends and most importantly, finding our voice. We kind of learning how to behave, think and act through the characters we meet in stories. Stories have a strong influence on our understanding of certain issues, values, and characters. Finding our voice to stand up for ourselves and others too have been part of our daily stories. We equip ourselves to always learn and re-learn with words that carry positivity to counter challenging situations like conflicts. Our group discussions generate authentic stories to not only communicate, but we can also articulate the essences to create connections. By further discussing, we generate more details such as emotions and feelings, in addition to characters, space, events, etc. This interest of reading is another part of our learning experiences of our stories. We enjoy reading the phonetic words that make sense to ourselves. We always consider our time reading books and talking about the things that happened in our day a worthwhile way to connect. When we read the books, we explore new characters, pictures, and adventures. Stories seem to spark connections in each of us. We include the stories in the messages we write to families and friends. Felix intentionally marks the blank white card with cut-out tapes to describe as 'roads in Downtown' and when he adds the stickers, he purposely chooses the ones of badges only, as his explanation toward the end makes a clear connection to the story. The badge stickers represent the many 'statues' that he observes when he visits Downtown. Writing our very own cards of friendship to friends creates something in relation to the story. In some ways it helps us to build vocabulary in creative ways. Sometimes we include technology to make connection with our interests on stories. It creates smiles and excitement. Stories convey important information about relationships and feelings. It nurtures a chance to express and find out more about our interests and personality. Our everyday situations indeed make our story exciting, interesting, and memorable. Kindest,
Children & Friends.
