How we do what we do
The (real) purpose of education is to bring up potential abilities and capabilities (advocacy) of every human being, through experiencing (experiential) the many processes (integrated) of possibilities, and at the same time creating meaning to own existence and to the betterment of the world we live in.
How we define learning based on children’s interests through our program:
the opportunities for children to explore the earth, they make connections with nature through observations and direct explorations. Using materials to mix, pour and measure is just one to the many ways for children to experience their fundamental knowledge of science and numeracy.
Gardening:
Promotes a respect for the environment and understands the fundamentals of biology. Gardening fosters children's mindsets of healthy lifestyle.
Cooking:
Children will participate in cooking or preparation of food. Discussing nutrition and helping with setting-up the lunch table.
Dramatic Play & Puppetry:
when children are provided with possibilities to re-enact or recreate experiences, they develop language & literacy skills, and build spirit of teamwork.
Sand and Water:
This area will give the opportunity to the children to mix, dig, measure, pour and experiment with floating and sinking. It too develops inquiry and problem solving skills.
Music and Movement:
A social activity that develops the sense of being part of a group.
Physical Education: Physical education and movement are part of the general well-being of the child.
