While journeying together, on our ordinary moments, with the stories of people written on the storybook On the Trapline by a Cree author - David. A. Robertson, we find ourselves imagine what life was like two generations ago. One of the many thoughts is how to become a more respectful friend toward self, others, materials, and places? The journey of unpacking it little by little, day by day, offers us insightful reflections. We realize this journey is so abstract, we can only feel it most of the time. It’s challenging to see its physical presence. However, we are being mindfully in collecting pieces of our thoughts, to compose our own collective voices of respect. Understanding the significance of building our own voices intrinsically, we dedicate time to reflect upon our own experiences. From a few learning experiences, when encouraged to reflect, we build abilities to .....
Some of our reflections worth more pondering. Till the next time for us to revisit this path, in the meantime Vivaan concisely sums-up our little journey in an eloquent way. It is indeed lovely to think about understanding we develop, what we may want to proceed further or are still wondering about. Being mesmerized in the present moment simply inhabit this moment without getting lost in the thoughts of the future. With the beautiful arrival of Spring, we cross the journey of Easter with lots of hopes of good things in life. Baking our Easter cookies from scratch requires our careful observations and participations. Cracking eggs is something we need to consider the sense of pressure and Felix does it care! Squeezing dough into balls takes a while to be more with ease. In this way Margo and Felix are observed to extend support to one another in working together in a coordinated way, which helps develop bilateral coordination skills. When the rains seem to still be part of Spring, we persist with our interest of hunting for Easter eggs indoors. We ensure we count the number of eggs, prior to hiding then. The funny part is, sometimes, we are so good in hiding them, as a result it becomes super hard, either for friends or ourselves, to find them! What can be more delightful than creating our own chocolate bunnies to enjoy together? Breaking a whole block of milk chocolate into multiple parts is observed to be a pretty challenging training for our finger and hand muscles coordination. Easter is also another time to share about selfless acts of kindness. Therefore, we conclude by constructing our own Easter egg wreaths to represent life and hope. We love things that have meanings, things that are handmade to stay with us and grow meaningfully! Kindest,
Children & Friends.
