Leanna is moving forward happily when she notices a challenge ahead. At first, she feels unsure because the obstacle looks difficult. Instead of stopping, she keeps moving forward one step at a time. Even when the ride becomes more challenging, she continues trying her best. Her persistence helps her make progress, and eventually she finds a way to overcome the challenge.
The movement of lifting the cover and looking inside excites Fia. She is curious and keen to discover what is inside. As she explores, her excitement grows, and she enjoys finding out. This experience encourages her curiosity, exploration, and learning.
We are pretending eating by the camping tent. Fia and Leanna are inviting some stuffed animals to our camping. Aarohi reaches to a hedgehog with her gentle hands, and helping it to eat some foods in the bowl. She pretends and makes some sounds of its eating. Through the dramatic play, we express and share our imagination with peers. This interaction helps us to grow our language development and social emotional growth.
Inspired by the warm sunshine and clear blue skies, we decide it is the perfect day to make our own smoothie. We gather a colourful assortment of ingredients, including ripe bananas, juicy raspberries, creamy peach yogurt, and refreshing orange juice. As we carefully measure and add each ingredient to the blender, excitement fills the room.
We have always been rather reluctant to operate the blender. This time, however, we decide it is worth being brave and stepping beyond out comfort zone. With a mixture of excitement and nervousness, one by one takes the first step. We carefully approach the blender. Our willingness to begin encourages the rest of us to follow.
Soon, we realize it is time to press the blender button. We gather around, eager to watch the ingredients transform into a smoothie. However, we also know that the blender can be very loud. As soon as we get ready to turn it on, some of our friends quickly cover their ears, anticipating the noisy sound. A few even giggle and step back lightly while waiting for the machine to start. When the blender roars to life, the fruits, yogurt, and juice spin rapidly inside, creating a colourful whirlpool. Despite the loud noice, we watch with excitement as the ingredients blend together into a smooth and delicious treat.
With an opportunity to learn about music and composers from around the world, we embark on a sound journey to explore rhythm and melody. This time, we listen to Spring, one of the most famous pieces from  The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi. As we follow the lively rhythms and cheerful melodies with our rhythm sticks, we imagine the sights and sounds of springtime. The experience allows us to appreciate how music can tell a story without words while helping us develop our listening skills and understanding of rhythm.
We also incorporate our growing listening skills into a fun movement learning experience. This time, we enjoy the action song A Ram Sam Sam, which encourages us to listen carefully and coordinate our movements with the music. The lively rhythm excites us to follow actions such as tapping, rolling, and lifting our arms and hands. As we move along to the song, we develop our listening skills, body coordination, and sense of rhythm. The engaging learning experience brings plenty of smiles and laughter while helping us build confidence in responding to musical cues through movement.
We further refine our movements by focusing on using our fingers to form different shapes. During the song Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, we use our fingers  and hands to create shapes that match the theme of the music. Luka and Anthony put in great efforts to form a diamond shape, representing a shining star in the sky. As we sing along, we carefully coordinate our finger movements, demonstrating concentration, creativity, and fine motor control.
As we grow fonder into many songs, we involve our fingers closely and adjust our hand positions to create the desired shape. This requires patience, perseverance, and careful attention to detail. Through repeated practice, we become more confident in manipulating our fingers and hands to express ideas inspired by the music. These various sound learning experiences encourage us to listen attentively to the lyrics and connect the meaning of the song with our movements.
By creating shapes with our hands, we are also developing our understanding of lines, angles, and spatial relationships. These emerging skills can be transferred to drawing, where we use visual observation and hand control to represent shapes and ideas on paper. The experience encourages Emily and Rebecca to notice details, think creatively, and express our understanding through movement before translating those ideas into artwork.
On one fine afternoon. Emily and Anthony demonstrate the connections between our growing abilities. We discover that our skills can develop simultaneously through meaningful and integrated experiences. As we engage in shared experiences, we begin to see how different areas of learning support one another, helping us grow in confidence, coordination, and understanding at the same time.
As we engage in music and movement learning experiences, we are not only developing our listening and rhythm skills but also strengthening other areas of learning at the same time. Through these experiences. Fia learns to coordinate her body, while building confidence and enjoyment in learning.
When we are given opportunities to move, explore, and express ourselves, we also learn how to overcome challenges. Through this learning experience, Fia is trying new movements, Anthony is staying in rhythm, while Emily is persisting when something feels difficult. In this way, we "jump over challenges" by practicing resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to keep trying.
Anthony also shows kindness and care by extending his hand to help Fia climb up. In this moment, he demonstrates how we can support one another while learning and exploring together. Through simple acts like this, we build a sense of teamwork, empathy, and connection within our shared experiences.
Sometimes spontaneous moments create a lot of fun. Fia and Aarohi build their relationship through a playful game of opening and closing the door gently. Their simple exchange of "Knock, knock, anybody home?" sparks laughter, connection, and shared enjoyment. In these moments, we explore social interaction, turn-taking, and imagination, showing how everyday play can become a meaningful opportunity for learning and friendship.
We are imagining that each one of us is a band member of Pokko from the book "Pokko and the drum". We see different approaches of making sound with the sticks like in the book, different animals different instruments

Our concluding experience at Yorkson Community Park is a joyful and memorable field trip where we explore movement and senses in a rich outdoor environment. At the water spray park, we engage in active play such as running, jumping, dodging streams of water, and laughing together as we respond to the rhythm and unpredictability of the sprays. These movements support coordination, balance, and confidence while encouraging social interaction and shared excitement.
Throughout the experience, we also become attentive to sounds. The splashing water, joyful voices, footsteps on different surfaces, and the natural outdoor environment. These sensory experiences help deepen our awareness of how movement and sound are connected in real-world settings. The trip provides a meaningful opportunity for learning through play, collaboration, and exploration, bringing together movements, sensory discovery, and social connection in a vibrant community space.
